Digital Games and Simulations in the Classroom (EDTC 5303)



One of the final projects for EDTC 5303 was to create a gamified piece of work that we could use within our classrooms. I actively teach 8th grade English Language Arts, so I decided to work with a system that enabled me to gamify my classroom management system. In this presentation, you can see how I applied the basic principles of effective gamification (also called the Eight Core Drives of Gamification) to my classroom management system to make it something that would be effective to real students, in a real classroom.
